Church History
On Fire Family Church, originally Faith Christian Fellowship of Murphy, Inc., began April 8, 1984 in the Marble Community Center just outside of Murphy. After a prompting in his spirit, Pastor Tommy and Jacquita moved to the Murphy area to begin the work God had placed in their hearts. The Lord spoke to Pastor Tommy saying “...It will be slow but it will be a well established church”. Through the 20 years of the church’s existence these words have proven to be true.

Church Vision - Romans 12:11 “Be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.”
Family Church: OFFC’s emphasis is on the family. In today’s world of declining family values, we are striving to make an impact by supporting our church families through teaching family values and Godly counsel when needed. OFFC is also a family within itself. We are a close knit body of believers with the same common bond of seeking God’s will in our lives. We have a commitment first to God, secondly, our families and thirdly, our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Teaching Center: OFFC is a place of teaching. Sunday services are a time of teaching principles for daily living and how to overcome life’s obstacles. Faith and Victory is our message! We instruct how to walk in health and prosperity causing abundant living for every believer. Our vision at OFFC is to help families stay on fire for God, not just one parent, not just the children but the whole family; Mom, Dad, and the children “On fire, serving the Lord”. We strive to teach every individual on the level of their comprehension.

     In the nursery our infants are cared for with love and compassion in an atmosphere of praise and worship around them.

     The toddlers and preschoolers are separated from the babies so that they can have simple instruction in Bible basics through crafts and games.

     Our Children’s Church program is a strong area of ministry nurturing elementary age children in Bible truths. These teachings are through instruction, puppets, skits, crafts and games. We have a zealous staff making learning fun for all ages.

Holiness On Teens (H.O.T.) is an active part of our church body. We are successfully reaching our young people today! Our youth have informative lessons in their own services on topics today’s young people face. They have exciting activities designed just for youth and the opportunity to participate in fundraisers for ongoing projects including annual summer youth camp. These activities focus on team unity and support of each other. Committed relationships to the Lord and supportive relationships to each other are encouraged by the teaching and demonstration of our leaders.

Adult bible study is held midweek during our Wednesday evening services. This is an instructional time covering many topics including prayer, faith, healing and many others.

World Outreach: OFFC is an outreach to our community. We have an outreach department that makes food and clothing accessible to those in need on a continual basis. We have an international vision to reach the world through our support of missions in areas of Russia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, India and Costa Rica. We are also affiliated with Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, OK, who has a world wide ministry through thousands of missionaries.
